NOTES:
This rare Promotional 12” of this number by Karma reached in 1979 Billboard’s National Disco Action charts.
“Funk de Mambo” is mainly a funky instrumental piece with lots of Latin styled percussion, jazzy synths and girly chorus.
Unfortunately I don’t remember to much ‘buzz’ over this record back in the day, never the less if you find a copy it will make a worthy addition to your collection.
“Funk de Mambo” was released to the retail market on both a 7” and 12” singles, also clocking at 6:20 the retail 12” single carries the same catalog number and includes Part II (instead of the Mono version) on the flip side.
