Cosa Nostra Disco Band is something of a mystery to me, this record was produced in Brazil but all the names associated with this project point to an Italian production.
In any case this rare Album is an interesting novelty record of the Disco era reserved by DJs for Private parties and/or Disco Shows when an Italian theme was requested.
Tarantella Disco is the best pick of this Album, this discofied version of the old traditional Southern Italian theme is repeatedly stitched together through out side A and can wear out fast after a few minutes, but still this song was a fun Party record during some Hallowing parties I remember, the rest of Side B has the same Italian music flavor including other Discofied Italian themes.
This Cosa Nostra Disco Band record might be worth tracking down, not only for the music, but for the wonderful one of the kind cover pictures.
