MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Personnaly I really like this Two Man Sound record so much, besides that brigs me very good memories from my childhood, (Disco Samba) is a very good song for the dance floor isn´t it?, well since latin disco songs drives me crazy this is an essential song for any collection.

A particular memory of this record is that back in 1979 this record has such a sales success (at least in México) that "imitations" didn't delay to appear, a friend of mine in that time i remember went running to my house with the LP of Disco Samba brand new in her hands, she was so excited that told me play it play it, so i did so, she started to sing (not to dance she was so stupid for that lol) but when i listen to that record and also saw it's cover didn't catch me so much) i knew something was wrong... that song didn't sound like the one on the radio, it didn't convinced me... i was right that record was not Two Man Sound's record, was another group called Prais And The Sambasound and they released the same album with the same tracks and in the same order... obviously this confused some people that only went to disco stores and picked it up the record without read that was not TMS... i found that old record and got it too :) and never played some day i will...

From this album the best tracks for me are the album title and of course Que Tal America, Samba Samba and the funny Americano with that cha cha cha rythm even that the lyrics mention "the tango style dance" the rest of the songs i found them suitable only for a summer barbecue party around the pool but not for the dance floor... :)
