MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Criminally underrated funk group Mandrill released this now very rare double LP in 1974. Key tracks here are: "The Reason I Sing", "Love Is Sunshine", and all of side 4. These guys were talented, as this release once again shows, with an ability to use their combined voices and musical talents to produce some moving tracks. Most Mandrill productions never made it big chartwise, but they're certainly recognized by enlightened music fans worldwide...
