Casablanca Records was known for releasing to the retail market most of their Disco hits on extended 12” single versions, but they also released short versions of many of the same hits on special Promotional double 'A' sided 7” singles designed mainly for Radio promotions purposes only.

This rare promo 7” single of Frankie Crocker’s cover of Cerrone’s classic is a perfect example, here Casablanca uses the same catalog number of the official retail copy but swaps the B side of “Poinciana” --- another one of The Heart and Soul Orchestra’s memorable hit — with the Mono version of “Love in ‘C’ minor”.
