NOTES ON THIS VINYL RECORD:

Danny Boy and the Serious Party Gods's "Castro Boy" is a synth-and-vocoder disco track from 1983, based on Frank Zappa's "Valley Girl", depicting a flamboyant nelly-style queer from Castro St., San Francisco, in lieu of Zappa's San Fernando Valley, LA girl.

My opinion: although obviously gay-oriented (check out the lyrics in the above thread), this is an excellent synth-and-vocoder italo-style pumpin'disco track that will appeal to anyone into that genre (well, at least I like it...) The rare original '83 USA release has been reissued in Holland by Panama records under # PAN 003, replacing the original A2 track by a "Lester Temple mix".
