MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Scott Allan had an interesting single on TK Records in 1979 with a cover of "I Think We're Alone Now / Will You Still Love me Tomorrow."

"I Think We're Alone..." was mixed by legendary DJ Bobby Viteritti for Disconet. Track mastered at Sterling Sound by Jack "Supercutter" Skinner whose name appeared on other Disco records of the time.

I know what happened to Scott Allan. He's doing well but no longer in music business. And this record is a gem, considering I personally know the guy.

Hey SCOTT came and lip-synced this at The CROWN in Kendall(MIAMI) when it was released. I played it, but I was in the minority. Great mix, but the record never took off. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 5.

Whatever happened to Scott Allan? What about the band Nasty/The Scott Allan Band and it's members? Anyone have any information???

As a remake and strictly speaking, no better than Tommy James and well beind The Shirelles; however, it is a superior dancer's record, filled with challenging percussion breaks.

David LaSalle is playing it these days on Oldies Night at the A-House, Provincetown, Mass.

What happens on the dance floor? The Men are separated from the boys, and the women from the girls, that's what!
