Carol Williams
Come Back b/w Love Is You (12")
Salsoul Records (US) / 1977 / 12D 2031
12" Disco SIngle 45 rpm Vinyl record
Producer(s) : Vincent Montana Jr.
Side A:
Come Back (7:15)
Side B
Love Is You (5:08)
Carol Williams teamed up with producer Vincent Montana of the Salsoul Orchestra on "More" in 1976 and then "Love Is You" in 1977. "Love Is You" is also notable in that Spiller's 2000 house hit "Groovejet" was built around this old track without giving it any credit.
Carol Williams later would work with Disco producer Tony Valor (Fantasy, Soccer, Maryann Farra & Satin Soul) on "Love Has Come My Way."
Williams later moved to Vanguard Records and had a sizeable club record with the Darryl Payne (Sinnamon, Sharon Redd, Komiko) produced "Can't Get Away (From Your Love)" in 1982.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS
I have noticed the "A" side track is missing for this carol Williams 12"?
The A is actually "Come Back" (7.15 sec). My Cat number is: 12D 2031. Pressed in uSA. Full colour Salsoul logo/artwork, etc.
"Love Is You" was the "B" as you have stated, and the track's open drum break and string sections were sampled extensively for Spiller's club smash"Groove Jet" some 3 years ago - but I think you probably know this?
