NOTES:

The Elgins originally recorded the song in 1966 with Saundra Edwards on lead vocals and it was a hit in the UK a few years later. Bonnie Pointer recorded it in the late seventies in the style of the original and a disco version. This fabulous version is the original group but with Yvonne Vernee Allen on lead and done in the style of the Bonnie Pointer Disco version !
