A big record on the Northern Soul scene, this is a later 12" on green vinyl - and possibly other colours!

The original was first played in radio stations and early DISCOS way back in 1972!!! Long before 12" versions were even dreamed about!!

This original song was a huge Disco Club hit in the USA when it first came out, it was played by every club DJ.

There is an Arista Promo 12" first released in 1976,it contains a 16:30 minute long version plus two other classic hits of the day by General Johnson ("Don't walk away")and the Glitter Band ( "Makes you blind").

I was never able to find this song on a 12" until the version pictured here came along, my copy is on regular black vinyl.
There is also a Live version released on a UK Arista 12".
