MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Frankie Vali of the Four Seasons goes Disco on this early 12" on Private Stock. There is even some debate if the promo version of this track was the first 12" single ever released. Actually, "Swearin' TO God" appeared first as a 10 inch test pressing.

Walter Murphy Band's "A Fifth of Beethoven" does prenumber the above title (5100 vs. 5101) That and $3.95 will buy one a grande katte at Starbucks.

The 1975 "Close up" Album version (PST- 2000) is 10:09 long according to the original label..

This coveted 12" is also the album version for all those who may find the LP much, much cheaper, altho it's a minute shorter!
