UNCLE LOUIE is one of Walter Murphy's bands (of The Big Apple Band fame) produced just one disco album containing the excellent disco single "Full tilt boogie", featuring Wah-wah Watson on the guitar, that makes it pretty funky. Very nice record. I also like the discofied b-side "Sky high".
Note that Uncle Louie was signed to Marlin records, for which TK Disco distributed the 12".
Taken from the Lp Uncle Louie's Here (Marlin LP, 1979).
''Full tilt boogie'' is available on cd: THE BEST OF T.K. DISCO released through Hot Production. A must album an a must cd.

"Full Tilt Boogie" received quite a bit of airplay here in N.Y., on WBLS in particular. I even remember seeing the album at the now defunct Disc-O-Mat record store in Herolds Square.(Disco-O-Mat was a chain of music stores here in the tri-state area). The cover was an illustration of a mother and her two kids at the dinner table, where one of the kids points towards a rather country looking brother and the kid says "Uncle Louie's here". I dont know why that cover stayed in my mind after all these years!
