NOTES:

The name of the groups is spelled Trammps and not Tramps. Here's the LP with "Disco Inferno" which also appeared on the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack. The Trammps will forever be known by "Disco Inferno" despite tons of other quality music. Take time to explore all the Trammps albums.

Although Disco Inferno is quite long and tedious at ten plus minutes, there is an unreleased twenty minute(!) version that was mixed by Tom Moulton and may possibly be released on a future CD.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Trammps

the track Disco Inferno itself was not bad at all - only the over-exposure thanks to Saturday Night Fever...I really hated the movie as we got drawn by Bee Gees syrup.........

My question is - what exactly is the meaning of this song. Who wrote the song and what were the lyrics about. Thank you

I'd heard "Disco Inferno" as a kid, when it was released, but hadn't really noticed it, for some reason. I heard it again in a rerun of the Starsky & Hutch episode, "Discomania", where it seemed to be playing throughout the whole show. I loved the track, and decided to find myself a copy of the single, then the LP, then other Trammps LPs... Now I'm a fan!

THE EARLY TRAMMPS SONGS AND PRODUCTION STYEL WAS FAR SUPERIOR TO THE DISCO INFERNO ERA..

GIVE A LISTEN TO :

ZING WENT THE STRINGS OF MY HEART.

LOVE EPIDEMIC .

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE.

I KNOW THAT FEELING.

I DONT KNOW WHAT CHANGED BUT THE WHOLE SOUND AND STYLE AND PRODUCTION QUALITY BECAME DIFFETRENT AND NOT TO MY LIKING..

THE TIGHT HARMONIES OF THE VOCALS WERE SO GOOD!!.
