Many ingenious DeeJays of the day made this classic even more fun to dance to by using both available versions during live Club mixing sets to create a unique bilingual version that could only be experienced at your local Disco.

There is something about this song that I love, I know, I worked at the COPACABANA before, during and after this song was penned, recorded and released by BARRY MANILOW. I can say, with full confidence, that THE COPACABANA was the very FIRST DISCO to play this and every other version that was released. I am positive that what the MixMaster said about a bi-lingual version, got it's origin there. The competition, IPANEMA and CASABLANCA refused to play this song. Silly boys, you don't know how much you deprived your dancers of a great DISCO CLASSIC! On my scale, of course I give this a TEN!!
