Disco covers of Beach Boys tracks, mostly lead sung by Luther Vandross. Actually not as bad as it may seem, as the tracks are rearranged with taste. "Darlin", in particular, is noteworthy, thanks to breaks in the track, and Luther's smooth vocal delivery. The cover itself is quite beautiful as well...

Jul 15, 2009 | 10:56 amI am the model on the cover of Good Vibrations I get Around recording. It was photographed at Castaic Lake in North LA county. The photographer was well known. I will find his name and send.
I had a poster and cover which my ex-husband wanted, he was the original drummer with Kiss, Peter Criss. I would love to have this record and cover. It was ironic at the time that I was dating Peter and doing this cover for Casablanca records.
I have a Cd copy of this album from my vinyl copy if you would like to have that. I gave Luther Vandross, David Lasley and Arnold McCuller copies of this LP.
