In the summer of '82, the impact of this record on the breakdance/pop/lock scene was phenomenal. The original instrumental version is arguably the most influential electro mix of all time!

This record has probably been sampled more than any other and deservedly so. I agree it paved the way for hip hop and rap as we know it today.
