Side A
Miami Heat Wave (8:56)

New York's On Fire (9:28)
Miami Heatwave was a huge hit in New York, New Jersey and of course Miami especially with the Cuban crowd. It starts off with prominent cowbells and a piano riff and then the horns come in with the opening line of Ninety degrees and I wish you where here.... You may recognize the bass line as it is similar to the Simon Orchestra's Mr. Big Shot. Unlike Big Shot, Miami Heatwave had male vocals for the leads.
Besides Seventh Avenue, Ian Levine had produced for another AVI artist: James Wells and later went on into Hi-NRG in the '80s.

Mar 06, 2010 | 8:16 am.....with more great cuts from Seventh Avenue like "I Hear Thunder" and "Ending Up On A High", both issued with great instrumental flips on the Record Shack label in the U.K. Not certain whether ever issued in the U.S., or merely remaining as 'imports', meaning fairly limited distribution and play.

I own my copy of this album and I love it!!!
