Saturday Night Band also enjoyed considerable success with "Come On and Dance, Dance" on an earlier Prelude Records release.
Moses Dillard had been involved with Soul since 1964 beginning with Moses Dillard & the Dynamic Showmen and was noticed by Otis Redding.

Concept band of the excellent PRELUDE disco label. Jesse Boyce wrote almost all of their hits, sometimes with Moses Dillard. All the songs from that Double-pack album are great.
Listen for "Keep those lovers dancing"; "Boogie with me"; and "Let's make it a party". The band used Lorraine Johnson for backing vocals.
