Coincidently I pulled this record the other day and gave it a fresh spin.

For those that like “pretty” Disco with an Euro influence this one should fit nicely, “Old Lisbon” is a nice number with shades of Constandinos sprinkled around for good measure, including the ever present girly chorus and soaring strings, Side A seems like only one song to me especially since it plays all the way through non-stop.

Side B also plays non-stop and in parts sounds like a marriage between the sounds of MFSB and Constandinos’, including some solo Sax portions directly lifted from MFSB’s “Love is the message” and laid over the euro sound of Love and Kisses, during other portions it seems like Cerrone’s “Love in C minor” is going to mix in at any moment , all and all a very derivative cut , but somehow it works and sounds much better today than it did back in the day when this sound was all but played out as better productions got all the attention.
