NOTES ON THIS VINYL RECORD:

An awesome gatefold LP with the delicious Salsoul lady, Ellen Michaels. "Nice and Nasty" is a "must have" Disco record for any Salsoul Orchestra / Vincent Montana fan.

While the whole LP is solid, tracks to check out are: "It's Good For The Soul", "It Don't Have To Be Funky (To Be A Groove)", "Don't Beat Around The Bush" and lastly the Latin tinged "Ritzy Mambo." The title track "Nice and Nasty" was featured on a 12" release with "Salsoul 3001" on the flipside.

Reader Comments on Salsoul Orchestra

The second album by SALSOUL ORCHESTRA was as strong as the first one, and they hit the US charts big this time with "Nice 'n' naasty". Also listen for "Don't beat around the bush", "Standing and waiting on love", ''It's good for the soul'', ''It don't have to be funky(to be a groove)''.

DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!! Can't miss with this album either. Full of exceptional tracks, I would find myself looking for a reason to put this album on my turntables. Everything on it was a DISCO CLASSIC. By my count FIVE DISCO CLASSICS!!! Could this be the BEST DISCO ALBUM EVER??It might well be. It is right up there.I tried to choose a favorite song, I couldn't. They were all so great! On my scale from 1-10, is there a doubt? Of course it gets a 10.
