MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES
Gorgeous indie disco record from the Californian Reynolds label! The record is very rare and present in every serious want list. Both the tracks are superb and absolutely perfect.

If you're looking to hear Steve Marshall on either side of this record, you'd better look elsewhere. The commercial pressing listed above contains no sax work whatsoever by Steve Marshall; it is a mixture of electronic keyboards and synthesizers, backed by reasonably unmelodic and repetitive background vocals. After about two minutes, one is putting gun to temple.
Hope is not lost, however. The promotional copy (Reynolds R 245) (not designated as such) contains a slightly shorter (6:35) version on each side, with a definitive Steve Marshall on sax as the main attraction. The artist is listed as 'Steve Marshall - Alto Sax'. BPMs are slightly lower than the copy profiled above and while the background vocals are still there, they are less intrusive, staying in the back where they belong. We are unable at this time to vett the LP as to which version it contains.
