MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

The original Italian release by Alexander Robotnick a.k.a. Maurizio Dami, with the over-sized label. Later issued by Warner Brothers-Sire Records in the States with a different and not as good remix. Problèmes D'Amour still kicks serious ass even after all these years and can be dropped into most any modern House set with no problems.

Regarding the oversized record label: a normal 12 inch record will have a label that's around 4 inches across, the first pressings of Problèmes D'Amour had a label that was 6 inches across. The plain black outer record jacket, which had a "Mix Line" logo, also sported a larger cutout to show the oversized label. While this was cool to view, it often played havoc when played on automatic turntables as the needle would run into the label at the end of the song and make a loud scratching sound since the turntable kept playing and could not sense that the end of the record had been reached.
