This original 12” version of this soulful duet (Dooley Silverspoon and Jeanne Burton) is very reminiscent of an Ashford and Sympson production, Dooley Silverspoon previously charted with “Bump me baby” and Jeanne Burton with “Nobody Loves me like you do” both released under the Cotton Label, later in the 80’s Miss Burton , now using the name Jenny Burton recorded the vocals for C Bank’s early electro “Freestyle” hit , “One more shot”.
