Time for what some call the, "New Romantic" sound. "The Look of Love" was ABC's first monster hit from the album Lexicon of Love, which paved the way for their other tracks like "Poison Arrow" and "Be Near Me."

Awesome track after all these years even though I recall critics hammering it back in the day. Produced by Trevor Horn who worked with many during this time including Frankie Goes to Hollywood and earlier with Tina Charlies(!).

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS

Hey, this song rocked. It was very popular, all over the place. On all top forty radio stations, in every club, on kids BOOM BOXES you heard it. On television shows you heard it. A very, very strong record in its time. On my scale from 1-10 it gets a 9.
