Kokomo's first (and only) 12" on Columbia, and fairly hard to find as it was a promo-only pressing.

Although the label is dated 1975, this is the date the song was actually published. When the LP first came out in the US in April 1976, Use Your Imagination charted for only 1 week. Columbia, feeling that the song had been overlooked, issued this 12" containing the same lp mix in June. The strategy worked, as the song re-entered the disco charts that same month.

A classic uptempo soul-stomper, very much in the vein of their fellow countrymen, The Average White Band.
