John Davis produced this remake of the Little Anthony & the Imperials hit from the 1960s. Interestingly, the first Columbia disco 12" ever made was Tom Moulton's disco mix of I Just Can't Make It by The Philly Devotions September 1975. Yet this followup effort which came out nearly 6 months later only made it to a 7" disco EP.
This 5:36 mix was also issued on the flip side of the commercial 7", where it was designated as "part 2". The disco dj promo was cut at 33 1/3 to improve the fidelity over the commercial pressing.

Whoops Bernie - looks like I made a typo in the artist name! It should be Philly Devotions, not Philly Devitions... sorry!
