"Down To Love Town" by The Originals is an absolute Disco classic from 1976. Co-produced and co-written by Michael Sutton who would later write Chery Lynn's "Shake It Up Tonight" and part of Mike and Brenda Sutton on SAM Records.
These double artist shared Motown 12" Disco singles were common during Motown's early 12" release period.

Jul 20, 2006 | 10:40 amThere is also a reedit that was done by Dimitri from Paris that is quite nice.

You've gotta hear the Dimitri From Paris Full Length Disco Citay Remix of 'Down To Lovetown' that was released this past summer (2006). He is not just one of the finest dj's in the world (see his 2000 Playboy Mansion party), he is also a composer and a musician as well (see his Sacre Bleu album that he composed, directed and played in). I'm pretty sure that's him fully making the "Down To..." remix, from the keys on. It's an incredible intro he lays down that matures a song that'll happy anyones' shoes!
