Covers of the sci-fi themes have a jazz funk style to them. "Space Dust" has been sampled in the intro to "It Takes Two" by Rob Base (1988) and various other rap/hip-hop tracks.

this lp was released in an alternate version in france under the name the several impressione orchestra and omited space dust, cantina band and galactic gogo to cover the entire side a with a note for note (and very well done) cover of meco's 15 min star wars suite.
