Side B
Kiss Me (2:37) [Kussa]
A full four years before "Stars on 45," came German group D.B.M. with their semi-eponymous "Discobeatlemania". This is a fairly pedestrian trawl through some of the Beatles' greatest hits, sung by session singers.
The real gem is to be found on the B-side. "Kiss Me" is extremely short and to the point at 2:37, it is sung / growled by a guy who is apparently fed up that a woman keeps coming on to him and trying to kiss him.
The conclusion of the song is thus:
"Well, this chick she don't give up.
So I kissed her on the cheek, [oooh!]
And I kissed her on the nose, [aaah!]
And you know what...
I kissed her on the...[oh-a-oh-a-oh-a!]
Hey, she likes it, she likes it!
And man, I like it too,
And I bet you do, scooby dooby doo!"
