MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

In 1979 Vincent Montana Jr. left the Salsoul Orchestra and the label for a contract with Atlantic Records. The first album without him was produced by Tom Moulton and Thor Baldursson and yielded the cuts "Street Sense" and "212 North 12th."

While commercial pressings of this album appeared on one record, this special promo spread the songs out onto two records to give DJs better sound fidelity. This edition is more collectable.
