Producer(s)
Joe Granda for Jag Productions
Mixer/Remixer
Joe Granda and Gary Henry
Side A
Diamond Girl (Vocal Disco Version 6:50)

Side B
EMU 1 (Vocal 3:53)
EMU 2 (Vocal 3:57)
The freestyle song, "Diamond Girl" by Nice and Wild was a big radio and club hit in 1986-1987.
The flipside with "EMU 1" and "EMU 2" are simply dub versions of "Daimond Girl" with the vocals cut up and repeated with annoying special effects. Skip the "B" side and just play the Vocal Disco version of "Diamond Girl."

hello.my question is what yr was the record pressed?i remmber hearin this song back in 1985 but a friend of my said the song was first hear of in 1986,,were they lettin this record played before 1986??? to add i love this song its still a big hit now even with the young latino's
Back in 1986 I only listened to heavy metal but "Diamond Girl" changed that. It was so up-beat and dancy as-well-as a little dark that I could not help but think that that song was so ahead of its time. I hear a mix of that song at almost every good club(or Latin club) in Tampa.
That awesome Dance-Jam!.. Was released in 1986, on Atlantic Records. The B-Side, Vocal/Disco Version/5:50.. Always tore-up the dance floors!. At Nor-Cal Night Clubs.
You'll never be heard if you don't post...
