Wayne Newton is best known for his Las Vegas lounge shows and a few pop hits in the 1970s.

Wayne Newton also jumped on the Disco bandwagon in 1979 with "You Stepped Into My Life" which was written by Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees. The song was alos sung a year earlier by Melba Moore on Epic Records.
