Great big orchestra Disco hit with lots of heavy drums, strings section and jazzy synths, this one was a very popular club record at the time , even listing on the Disc-o-la Fortune 500 Discotheque songs of the 70s chart at number 448.
As far as I know this Canadian Penny Farthings release was the first 12 inch available in America, the label claims this track is taken from the Disco Rampage LP, but my copy released in 1977 on the London label was re-titled Erotic Soul (PS-700) apparently to capitalize on the popularity of this 12 inch single.
I'm Hooked On You is a nice low tempo Disco number in parts reminiscent of Rock Your Baby by George McCrae, but this cut never received much attention back then.
In 1977 Larry Page Orchestra also released a second 12 inch titled Slinky Thighs (PD101) and not available on the London LP, this track received moderate club play, although no way near Erotic Soul.
