Side B
Don't Stop The Train (Import Version 6:12)
Here's the Jim Burgess remix of Phyllis Nelson's 1981 release. She also came out with "I Like You" a few years later.
Interesting tidbit:
DJ Jerry Bonham who DJs at the Remember the Troc Party tells us:
Viola Wills actually sang the first original version of ìDonít Stop The Trainî and when the Phyllis Nelson version came out they used Viola's vocals for the entire second half of the record!
Listen to your 12î of Phyllis and thatís actually Viola Wills singing after the break.
Some sort of contractual offense apparently, as the Viola Wills full vocal came out on a small label and credited to Kristeen!
And oddly enough there is about 5 seconds of Phyllis Nelson singing on the Viola Wills version, listen closely and youíll hear the voice change in one of the verses.

Somewhere in my basement I have a 12" of Don't Stop the Train on an import label called Cererre or something like that. As far as I know, that was the first release to reach the States. I probably would have ordered it from a source I was using in New York, though I can't recall the name. Hell, it was 28 years ago!
