This is a very odd Tommy Boy Records release since they are known more for electro style beats of the early 1980's. "Hold On To This Moment" by Mystery is arranged by Lime's Denis LePage so it has that typical, but good Canadian Disco sound.

Apr 20, 2007 | 10:09 am"Hold on to this moment" was used as 'filler' in selected Miami clubs on the strength of it's "Lime" sound which was popular at the time.
This song was first available on the Canadian label 'Bump' on a 12" (Bump 1000)with the instrumental version (5:13)on the flip side, a good thing as the vocals here - especially during the last minute climax- are not very memorable.
Oh, yes, the Canadian 12" was released in 1981.
