In 1983 Profile Records released a Disco version of "Memory" (not Memories) from the Broadway musical "Cats." Menage's version went on to be a huge success and had heavy rotation on New York's WKTU radio. If you are looking to find the Disco or Dance version of the song from "Cats" then this one by Menage is probably it. They later did a Disco / dance version of "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "At This Moment."
As popular as "Memory" is, it seems to have only been released on one CD called " Brooklyn's Own Joe Causi Presents Dance Classics of All Time Vol 1 ." which is now out of print, but may still be available as used.
Producer Warren Schatz was behind Vicki Sue Robinson's "Turn the Beat Around" and Dolly Parton's foray into Disco, "Baby I'm Burnin.'"

This was a DISCO CLASSIC. I played it in PRIME TIME, seven nights a week sometimes!!During the PRIME TIME HOURS as well! It packed the dance floor. For many months! Easy to mix in, excellent breaks for remixing and mixing out. It has good production, the vocals are adequate. It has what it takes!! On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.
