An early ABC Records 12 inch Disco single from 1977 by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes . Someone will have to explain the title of this song, "Baby, You Got My Nose Open" to me? Nowhere near in the same league as his earlier "The Love I Lost" hit, but a nice song nonetheless.
Harold Melvin is no longer with us, but the group does tour under the name Harold Melvin's Blue Notes - notice the ommission of "and the" in the name.

Great record. In fact, I love the post-Teddy Pendergrass, Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes material. I believe they still worked with the same Philly guys, just through ABC or MCA instead of Philly International.
I've heard 'Baby you've got my nose open' used as a saying before. I think it basically means 'you got my attention'. I saw one guy use it in that movie Wattstax to describe a girlfriend or woman he knew.
