Best described as a funky Rock sound meets Disco, "Superstar" was a sizeable hit in 1978. Bob McGilpin stayed with Butterfly Records for two albums, "Super Star" and "Bob McGilpin II - Get Up" which yielded "Sexy Thing" and then later appeared on Casablanca with a 12 inch single called "Chain Reaction" which didn't go far. "
