This was Cowley's lthird and last album before his untimely death in late 1982. It was recorded and written during the last steps of his battle with AIDS, which helps to understand the urgency on some of the songs to develop an 'utterbody' experience, as well as paranoic and bizarre scenarios. The album ends fittingly with 'Going Home', a song that's pretty much a metaphor for the final days of an underrated and overlooked musical genius.
