Nancy Martin's "Can't Believe" is an excellent Canadian mid-tempo (116 BPM) urban track from 1982 that had a huge buzz in New York.
Although I can't confirm it, I believe Nancy Martin and Nancy Martinez (Just For Tonight) are one and the same.

There is a 'remix' version released on the Unidisc label clocking at 5:01. (1987)
This version has a very different sound, mainly because the original drums were replaced with synth drums (?)and they also increased the Tempo and added some vocoder etc, as a result this remixed version lacks the sleazy funky sound of the Atlantic version pictured here.

Yes, Nancy Martin and Nancy Martinez is the same person. She also recorded in 1981 or 1982 under the name Jade. I have the record with the picture on the jacket. I am a disco singer of the 70.s and 80,s pierre perpall,or purple flash or pluton and the humanoids.
