Lady Tee, Teena Marie began her music career being produced by Rick James on an earlier Gordy / Motwon release in 1979. The "It Must Be Magic" album yielded two sizeable hits, "It Must be Magic" and "Square Biz."

Teena Marie still performs live concerts to this day.
