While Lene Lovich is best known for her New Wavish songs, she was a backup singer on many Disco tracks coming from Europe during the 1970's.
"New Toy" is classic New Wave on the Stiff label. The quirky Lene Lovich was sort of a Bjork of that era-at least to me she was. "Ew, ew, oh, oh . . ."
