This LP, like the group's previous one, was produced by Van McCoy, his distinctive sound and use of the glockenspiel evident throughout.
The title track starts with a downtempo, classical overture, it's not until 2:20 when the uptempo tune familiar from the single version kicks in.
The overture also includes a segment of music which simply has the lyrics "Life goes on... ooooooo....." repeating. This segment occurs throughout the rest of the disk segueing some tracks together, named "Live spiral" on the back cover of the LP, you can see from the track listing where this occurs.
The songs are all high quality soul/disco in the Van McCoy mould. If you liked "To each his own", you'll like this.
