Besides Alec Costandinos putting music out under his name, he also had various studio groups with Love and Kisses being the most notable. This is the first release for Love and Kisses and perhaps their best.
"I Found Love" is among my favourite Disco songs of all time. Simply a classic. More of Love & Kisses and Alec Costandinos' work can be found throughout this site.

Apr 23, 2008 | 10:16 amThis "LP" is realistically a long 12" version of the immense DISCO CLASSIC. While "I FOUND LOVE" could be THE BEST DISCO SONG EVER, the flip side is just as great!! It was originally featured in PULSTAR, an early ALEC COSTANDINOS release on TOM AND JERRY Records, a SALSOUL subsidiary label. I used to play "ACCIDENTAL LOVER" a year or two before this version! Once I got this version, I really had some fun!! A fantastic"LP" that gets a TEN on my scale from 1-10. Finally, What is said when I FOUND LOVE ends, then starts again???

One thing to note about the US release of this Love and Kisses album is that it omits the opening dialogue of "Accidental Lover" which sets up the premise for the song.
The UK release on Rei-Vera (LM2737) has the intro, and excellent sound quality.
WE WERE DANCING IN THE STREET WITH THIS ONE UNTIL THEY STARTING LOCKING PEOPLE UP!
