Jul 11, 2010 | 8:03 amI stand corrected on my statement above. My memory of the biography was foggy and a little disjointed. I reread the Andy parts last night, and he never had a crush on a male tennis player, nor any other male; he was all about women. Andy played tennis with his brother, Barry, a lot. I was reading a paragraph when he dated an ice skater; she was the one the writer was interviewing and kept stating "him;" I incorrectly thought Andy was being interviewed and referring to a man. The first time reading the chapter, I sort of skimmed over it. Also Andy claimed the outfits he wore "verged on the obscene", not "tacky and inappropriate" as I had mentioned before. Moreover, there was no indication that he was not comfortable wearing these clothes. He was just worried about being cast into the role of a teen-idol, a career he said was never long-lasting. Peace out, Andy. Deb

May 21, 2010 | 9:46 amActually, Andy did have a crush on a male tennis player, but this relationship was never culminated. I think Andy was so much in need of love that he wore his heart on his sleeve. He was a huge womanizer and only had the one attraction to a male, but, trust me-he liked women. And yes, Andy Gibb died back in '88 from a viral infection of his heart, partly because of congenital heart defect but mostly because his nearly 10 years of cocaine abuse had affected his already weak heart. He had been clean for about 2 years. Andy Gibb hated wearing those tight pants. He said that they were tacky and inappropriate, but his promoters made him dress that way for the girls. There was a lot of difference between the real Andy and the teen idol, Andy Gibb. The source of all this information comes from the biography of the Bee Gees, so I'm sure it's accurate. If someone really loved Andy so much, they would take the trouble to research his life. I can't believe that guy didn't know Andy has been dead for decades, so good luck meeting him-perhaps on the other side...

Apr 23, 2008 | 5:03 amDid you read the comment above me? That boy is in all-sorts of trouble! It is not the GAY that bothers me, it is the fact that he wants to meet ANDY GIBB!!?? Hope that he realizes a couple of things, 1) Andy Gibb was never GAY. 2) Andy Gibb has been dead over twenty years!!!!------As for this album, besides SHADOW DANCING, no other hits, but that one was enough!! On my scale from 1-10, because it is ANDY, it gets a 7.

Feb 11, 2007 | 4:32 pmhowdy, Im a country 14 year old, I'm a gay boi, but I love Andy's music he is the best singer to me, he is sexy. Im into the 70s music. I also like those tight creamy white bellbottom jeans and white jeans he wears they are sexy on him. I like to meet Andy someday, it would be cool. I like to have a pic of him in those tight creamy white bell-bottom jeans or tight creamy white jeans. That be so cool. Andy Number 1 Fan, David White

okay if that guys views on dress style meaning gay than I think he better read up on what metrosexual means cause if he was right michael jackson would be gay (and he was with elvis's son and had 3 kids bviously not gay) Prince would be gay and he gets better looking gfs than seal has wife and every male disco artist would be gay wtf is with that moron and ANDY GIBB was in relationship with a damn pretty woman Victoria so that man above gets the biggoted uneducated moron award bravo bravo
