One would be hard pressed to argue against "Backstabber (Back Stabbers)" being The O'Jays greatest album. It kick started the whole Philadelphia sound that Gamble and Huff intoduced to the world with hits such as "Back Stabbers," "Love Train" and "Time To Get Down." Other notable cuts were "992 Arguments" "Shiftless, Shady, Jealous Kind Of Peopl" and "Sunshine". No serious fan of the Philadelphia sound should be without this album.
