Dec 29, 2003 | 2:38 pmdoes anyone know the name of the artist (female) and the song that responded to this song?
thanks

In response to the questions about who was the female (artist) that recorded a reply to "The Rain" -- Her name was Candi Shannon (I'm not sure I'm spelling it right). She was a DJ for WKYS in Washington, D.C. As far as I know, she was the only one who recorded a response to his record -- and it was widely played as WKYS is a VERY popular station. Actually she was NOT a singer but a radio personality.
