France Joli was only 16 years old when she released "Come To Me" on Prelude Records in 1979.
This is the original version of "The Heart To Break A Heart" which I prefer to the remix that Prelude put out a few years later. The flip side contains the excellent "Feel Like Dancing."
"Gonna Get Over You" was France Joli's last good record.

Jan 28, 2004 | 7:40 amIs this the same as the 7:30 version that is on CD single?

While everyone knows that France Joli was the DISCO DARLING, a very young girl who could sing up a storm. Few realize that she had no number one records. Not in Top 40, not in Billboard Disco charts. This record was close. Great PRIME TIME PLAYER, that packed every dance floor of every DISCO it was played in. Fantastic intro and equally great breaks. You should own this record. On my scale from 1-10. this DISCO CLASSIC gets a !).
