MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Hmm, Beach Boys member Bruce Johnston doing a Disco version of Pipeline which was originally done by The Chantays as a surfer instrumental rock track. This is a huge underground classic.

Featured here is a special Disco version from the Columbia 1977 album, Going Public #PC34459.

PIPELINE was very well received and accepted at New York Clubs. Some may consider it a DISCO CLASSIC, I don't. wasn't widely played out-side NY, LA, CHI. Wasn't around long enough either. But a solid DISCO cut. On my scale from 1-10, a 10.
