MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Most of you will remember the song by Lorraine Johnson called "Feed the Flame." This 12" version of "Feed the Flame" remixed by Francis K (Kevorkian) (a. k. a. François K.) is a little different than the LP cut.

Jesse plays Bass, keyboards and also sings background vocals. Moses is on keyboards and handles the arrangements. Moses and Jesse turn out some funky, but almost elegant sounding tunes. Besides working with Lorraine Johnson they also put their touch on Saturday Nights Band and the Constellation Orchestra's music which were also on Prelude.

Moses Dillard had been involved with Soul since 1964 beginning with Moses Dillard & the Dynamic Showmen and was noticed by Otis Redding.

Jesse Boyce, a Florida native was part of the FAME Rhythm section, which played backup for many Soul singers.
